Girls Day
Out
Girls
Day Out is a 2-day off-piste female ski camp that specializes in
fostering skiing skills and techniques, along with amplifying education
and inspiration. If you enjoy skiing off groomers, powder skiing,
step pitches, rollers, bumps, jump turns etc - the events will suit
you.
Participants
will spend two action-packed days improving skiing skills with professional
coaches, testing out new Rossignol skis, eating exquisite lunches,
and sharing laughs with new friends. Community building and goal
setting workshops will be implemented to help all attendees become
aware of their personal potential on and off skis.
The
2009 coaching staff will consist of local female resort representatives
and visiting guest coaches. Each coach has an extensive skiing and
diverse ski background, from ski instructing, backcountry guiding,
big mountain competitor, and ski coaching. The coaches will motivate
you to ski more challenging terrain, improve your technique, and
aid you in refining your style.
Registration
is open to intermediate and expert female skiers ages 13-50.
