Women's
Weekends
These
courses have been such a success and very well regarded by so many
that we are delighted to offer several 3 day Performance courses
for ladies in the popular resort of Morzine in the Portes du Soleil.
The ideal tonic for those that fancy some excellent, inspiring,
fun teaching, at your level, with your needs in mind.
Courses
structurally are run similarly to our All Mountain Performance Weeks
but operate over a 3 day period. We aim to work, at your level,
making sure you feel comfortable, happy and yet challenged within
the group. Your actual level tends to already identify areas that
we would work on but with all levels our aim is to make you feel
that you can negotiate the terrain and conditions that you feel
you wish to combat and improve on. This will vary from skier to
skier but with this 'all day formula' we feel we have a great format
to encourage, help and challenge you in the areas you most need
to improve on.
What's
so different about our Women's Courses to others? Well, the biggest
difference is that you are put in to a group at YOUR level and not
with a mixture of levels. In our mind it is really very important
to get you working within a level where you are happy, confident
but you also feel you are going to progress. We are very keen to
make the most of the days with us and that you feel that you are
able to focus on some simple points in order to progress out of
the instruction environment.
The
perfect break for the lady skier who would like to enjoy some, quality
time on skis, with excellent, fun instruction in a relaxing, non-pressured
atmosphere.
If
you require further details about these courses or wish to find
out whether your level is suitable please email Sally
Chapman direct. Courses are aimed at all levels of skiers who
wish to gain the most out of this winning formula.
Course
Information
The
course runs over a three day period. We usually have 5-6 groups
running within each course (Levels 2-6 offered).
This means the most important aspect is that you ski at your level,
within a group of other ladies at the same level. (Average 6/7 in
a group.)
The
dates advertised this season are 2-5 Jan, 16-19 Jan and 20-23 March.
The 2nd, 16th and 20th are Saturdays, this is a travel day, although
if you wish to get an early flight then with an hour and ten minutes
transfer from Geneva you could be skiing by the afternoon. We then
meet on the Saturday evening and ski a full day Sunday, Monday and
half day Tuesday, thus your departure is usually from Geneva Airport
on Tuesday evening.
We
like to meet the first evening of your arrival to have an informal
chat about the course, checking levels and offering as much information
as you require. Once on snow you will stay with your instructor
for the day, meeting other groups for lunch if this is arranged
or exploring the territory you are in and working on your own personal
goals and performance. Tuition is all day for the first two days
and half day for the third day. Informal evening sessions over tea
and cakes or a drink and any other details of interest will be organised
accordingly.
